The Fifteenth What??

Witch.

Yes.

The blog posts you see below are the ones I have decided to move from the GoDaddy site and the blog back to Blogspot.  I have my reasons, but you will notice I have retained the original publish dates of each post.  They were my reactions to each episode of Season 2 of Mayfair Witches written at the time, so I want to keep that context intact.

You know, my blog posts for Mayfair Witches Season 2 followed the series of reactions written for each episode of Interview With the Vampire Season 2.  Perhaps I should move those here as blog posts?  After all, that is really what a blog is.  I might use the air dates but clarify as I have here that they are the reactions I wrote at the time.

There has been a lot of restructuring of my Mayfair Witches content these last several months.  Yes, I want the content to be user friendly and well organized as well as a reliable resource.  That is what I have been trying to do, as well as keep users safe while visiting any of the Parlor's digital footprint.  Which means I've not devoted a lot of time to the new Talamasca series.

Talamasca: The Secret Order AMC
Anne Rice's Talamasca, AMC
Well, of course I'm going to watch it!

And I'm going to watch it with an open mind.  I know that for many Anne Rice fans, the departures from the Lives of the Mayfair Witches novels in the Mayfair Witches show, also AMC, have upset a lot of people.  I am also aware that despite the success of the show, there are those who have similar feelings about AMC's Interview With the Vampire.  Regardless of my personal opinions, I do try to be fair to both sides when I talk about either series.  I will do the same with regard to Talamasca.

For those of you who would like to learn more about Anne Rice's Lives of the Mayfair Witches novels, obviously, first read the novels.  I am also the owner of Come Into My Parlor, a website devoted to discussion of the Mayfair Witches novels I launched on Tripod Lycos in 2008.  I recently migrated the site's content to a new home where I will continue to blend new content in with my original content.  If you'd like to see what the original website looked like, I've pretty thoroughly archived it, and The Archive on the new site has pages that organize the archived site.

The new site is organized like the original site, and I might decide to provide a menu that will take you to each category of pages on the new Parlor.

In the meantime, please be patient as I, who am but a humble webmistress, continue to navigate the ins and outs of Things I Want Fixed and Things I Think My Website Needs.  I prefer to write long, rambling posts like this one, so you might imagine just how befuddling it is to also have to learn to write codes and stuff.  Restrictive and they get so huffy if you use too many words.  No fair.

Anyway.

I'm not going anywhere.  My content isn't going anywhere I'm not.  Please make use of the links in text that will take you to the Parlor's new home and other resources for more on Anne Rice's Lives of the Mayfair Witches, as well as the series on AMC.
