As I've said, I love to try to create the world of fiction novels
visually. When I do, I am trying to see what the author might have seen
in their mind when they wrote their stories. Very true of Anne Rice's
Lives of the Mayfair Witches series, yes. There is another novel, though, one I
first read many years ago after buying it as an eBook, that grabbed onto me
and hasn't let go yet. What is equally impressive is that it was
self-published.
